RATIONALE FOR COMPLIANCE JUDGMENT

All associate degree programs offered by Nashville State Technical Community College (NSCC) require a minimum of 60 semester hours.  The attached table [1] lists the number of semester hours required for each associate degree offered.   Descriptions of each program in the College catalog [2] also provide the total number of semester hours required in each degree program. Tennessee Board of Regents policy 2:01:00:00 [3] provides that all associate degrees require a maximum of 60 semester hours unless additional hours can be justified based on accreditation and/or certification requirements.
