RATIONALE FOR COMPLIANCE JUDGMENT |
|
New staff and administrative employees are evaluated prior to the conclusion of their 6-month probationary period [1].
Academic deans undergo an administrative evaluation in early December (prior to the end of fall semester), allowing any needed corrections or changes to occur during the following spring semester as outlined in the Faculty and Staff Handbook [2]. This evaluation includes evaluation by the Vice President of Academic Affairs [3] and faculty [4].
The President seeks campus input into his annual evaluation by the Chancellor through a survey of direct reports. Identified issues or concerns are then discussed and remedied.
All other employees are evaluated annually in March or April as outlined in the Faculty and Staff Handbook using the attached evaluation instruments [5]. |
