RATIONALE FOR COMPLIANCE JUDGMENT

 

Nashville State Technical Community College has administrative leaders, who are shown by position on the College organization chart [1], who have experiences and qualifications appropriate for their positions and appropriate to lead the College to achieve its mission.

 

Senior administrators reporting to the President have appropriate credentials and experience for their positions.  The minimum qualfications and essential skills for all positions are included on job descriptions.  Within academic affairs, there are five divisions, each headed by a dean.  A summary of the qualifications and major experiences of administrative leaders is linked below [2],   Within these divisions, each academic program area has a Program Coordinator.  The coordinator is a full-time faculty member with appropriate teaching qualifications in that academic program area [3].  A list of fall 2006 coordinators is linked to this narrative.  The qualifications for all of these faculty members are included in the faculty roster [4]. 

 

All senior administrators are evaluated annually. The 2005 evaluation for the Vice President for Academic Affairs is attached as an example [5].
