Biology Program
Biology courses provide appropriate theory and job-related skills as well as skills for higher level science courses leading to the baccalaureate degree. Laboratory exercises provide hands-on reinforcement of basic principles and concepts.

University Parallel A.A. and A.S. Transfer Degrees
The Biology Program offers the following courses for the University Parallel Associate of Science (A.S.) and Associate of Arts (A.A.) degrees for students who will transfer to a Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) university. A.A. and A.S. transfer degrees include 41 credit hours of required TBR General Education Core courses, and 19 credit hours of recommended Area of Emphasis courses. For non-TBR universities, consult the catalog of the transfer college.
