Accessible
Seating and Services in the Gentry Center:
There is a restricted area on the arena floor of
the Gentry Center designated for guests who use walkers, scooters or
wheelchairs, and for those with limited mobility. This area is marked
with signage and there will be personnel along with Security to assist those
that fit these criteria.
Please know that only two other family members can sit with
the person needing accessible seating, a total of three people
per family in this restricted area.
This area has limited seating due to the number of
guests with limited mobility who attends the NSCC commencement ceremony at
the Gentry Center. These restrictions are designed to minimize
accidents, and to allow emergency access if needed. We appreciate your
assistance in adhering to these guidelines.
Graduates, if you have guests who use scooters,
wheelchairs, and walkers, or have limited mobility, please let your families
know before Tuesday, May 14th about this designated area, and the
limited number of people that can sit with them. It is our desire to
make accommodations for those who need a more accessible location to view
the commencement ceremony. With you and your families’ cooperation and
understanding, we will be better able to accommodate many of our guests with
mobility challenges.
Thank you!
