This is the basic training designed for faculty who are developing a web course and have not previously developed a course. Other faculty are welcome. The training will refer to the new Quality Matters guidelines as well as the technology and programs required to develop content, quizzes, assignments, etc. The following topics will be addressed.

  • Getting Started
  • Importing and Evaluating a Module
  • Developing HTML Pages
  • Working with PowerPoint
  • Analyzing Quiz Options
  • Creating, Releasing, and Grading Assignments
  • Using Discussions and Mail in D2L
  • Creating a Grade Book
