Coffeehouse patron finds Mother Teresa in cinnamon bun.

December 29, 1996.
Is it a miracle, a fraud, an accident of nature,
or something else? On October 15, 1996 a customer at
the Bongo Java Coffeehouse in Nashville saw the
likeness of Mother Teresa in his breakfast cinnamon bun.
Other customers quickly confirmed his discovery. The
bun now has a secured place of honor in this Belmont
University area eating establishment. T-shirts are being
sold. Film short subjects and appearances on Letterman
and Leno are being discussed. It is rumored that the
lucky patron has left the state and the baker retired.
Comments from customers have been that
"It is a Nashville near miracle",
"It brought religion into a lot of unspiritial lives",
and "It is a place of peace in Nashville".
