Critical Thinking Activities

The Implementation Committee is collecting Critical Thinking Activities. One of the elements of our plan is to create a database of activities where all faculty can search for new ideas for teaching critical thinking in the classroom. So what are you doing in the classroom? Please describe the activity you use by completing the form.

  1. Download the form.
    Click the link. Select Save, and put the form where you will.

  2. Open the form and save under this filename format: Program_YourLastName_BriefDescription (as in ENGL_Adkerson_CritRead).
    Click File: Save As to save under the new name.
  3. Fill out as many fields as you can (those gray boxes will expand as much as you need!). Describe your activity in the first box. On the Characteristics field, choose as many of the five characteristics as apply to your activity. Don’t worry about the fields you can’t fill out!
  4. Send the form via email attachment to michelle.adkerson@nscc.edu or to any member of the Implementation Committee.
