The Cookeville
Campus of Nashville State Community College will be sponsoring a 2-Liter Bottle
Rocket Contest for area high school students. High school students will
build inexpensive water rockets using 2-Liter plastic bottles. Students
will attach fins, parachutes, and other items to the bottles to increase flight
stability and aid in rocket recovery. The only fuel permitted in the
rockets is water and compressed air.
