There has been some information passed along to us from the symphony: the performance company will not allow speakers or amplification for the rehearsal, but they will seat our group as close to the front as possible. I am hopeful most of you will still be able to hear/feel the symphony since it is percussion. Percussion is also a very visual art, although it would be understandable if you are no longer interested in going. This was a huge disappointment for us and we even went to the Vice President of the Symphony on this concern of the speakers but there was nothing more we could do.
