The Nashville State Concert Band is a community concert band open to NSCC students, community members, and high school students. A wide variety of the finest literature for concert band is studied, from classics to contemporary works. Performance experience is required, and audition or consent of instructor may be requested. Woodwind and brass musicians are required to provide their own instrument. Percussion instruments will be provided, but musicians will need their own sticks and mallets. The band performs one or two concerts each semester.
