From Solo to Learning Team: Building Community in the Classroom
Students often arrive in our classes with the impression that they will be flying “solo” – isolated despite being in a room/Zoom full of other people. It’s important for students to develop a feeling of connectedness from the very first day of class. Let’s explore some ways that we can begin to build community in our classrooms from Day 1 and throughout the semester!
