Nashville State “Roots” is an ensemble that features instruments traditionally associated with folk music such as fiddle, guitar, mandolin, banjo, bass, and more. Tunes are drawn from the musical traditions of many cultures in the United States and beyond.
This ensemble is taught by Dave Edginton (guitar) and Meghan Perdue (violin/fiddle, viola, mandolin)
Requirements
(1) Must provide (own or rent) your own instrument
(2) Must be age 12* or above (*see below)
*Requires written permission from parent(s)/legal guardians to participate; an
interview or audition may be requested
Final session will be held 12/11 from 5:15 to 6:45 pm
Concert: 12/11 at 6pm.
