The Academic Advising process at NSCC is designed to help students create a personalized academic plan that positions them to succeed, feel connected to their institution, develop confidence in interacting with faculty and staff, and explore career and continuing education opportunities. Developing a relationship with your academic advisor during your first year is a great way to start off on the right track.

Enrolling in school and trying to find an academic program that fits me best was terrifying! Over the years I talked myself in and out of going back to school. Then I met the advisors at NSCC. After asking many questions, they were able to fully convince me that I was making the right decisions.
