o   Responsible for the technical aspects of properly loading, converting, troubleshooting, proofing and optimizing artwork for hard copy output.

o   Create and complete finished electronic pre- and post-press production of graphic design materials (such as, but not limited to, full price and sale store signage, print pieces and marketing materials).

o   Complete graphic projects incorporating images (logos, product images, etc.) to create advertising/marketing materials, making edits/corrections, generating final hard copy and proofing for accuracy, color and quality.

o   Manage problem solving for proper file preparation, font replication, color breaks, bitmap densities/enlargement, and conversion of art images

o   Responsible for graphics production, including substrate loading, pre-flight, scanning, optimizing, outputting and proofing artwork.

o   Perform printer maintenance, including substrate loading, ink loading, and cleaning

o   Perform finishing tasks including substrate cutting, rolling, banding and attaching processed documentation.

o   Handle customer service requests, workflow documentation, file management and archiving, job tracking/invoicing.

o   Assure that all products delivered are in compliance with state laws and company guidelines

o   Manage a steady stream of production and graphics-related details under specific time constraints

o   Perform daily/monthly workflow reports

Primary Purpose:

Ensure quality control and conditions of department. Maintain variety according to Food Lion standards. Provide friendly, courteous and prompt customer service. Engage and interact with customers to create a positive shopping experience. Process fresh meats, smoked meats, seafood, random weight, lunchmeat, frozen food and salted meats to the production standards set by Food Lion. Maintain sanitation of the entire department. Maintain rotation, pricing, and price changes. Wrap and weigh meats when necessary to achieve proper conditions in department. Find more efficient ways to do the job and seek to reduce costs and improve labor productivity. Provide proper handling of reductions. Understand and follow Food Safety guidelines and procedures. Continually review current Standard Practices to ensure proper Standard Practice execution. Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and standard practices. Job Requirements:

Ability to safely operate all Market Department equipment including slicer, grinder, scale, saw, knife, wrapper and cuber.

Ability to maintain a knife grip in order to cut primals and subprimals to specification. Ability to disassemble, clean and reassemble all equipment as part of the sanitation process.

Ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 70 pounds.

Ability to push or pull up to 2000 pounds with a pallet jack.

Ability to withstand, for long periods, a working environment of 45F or less.

Ability to weigh, price, label, organize and rotate product.

Ability to meet production standards established by Food Lion.

Ability to complete Computer Based Training (CBT) and Training Aid courses.
