Teams participate in a four-day hands-on experience in creating and implementing a Problem-based Case Study
Learn how to design your own Problem-based Case Studies. It begins with a real problem from a business situation that your team brings to the Institute.
Having previously attended an Awareness Workshop you will know how cases use problematic situations to teach concepts in technical education. At the Institute, your team will actually build a first draft with assistance from The Case Files staff of instructional designers, technical writers, media specialists, business/industry advisors and experienced faculty.
To make the most of your time at the Institute, you will need to bring your business partner(s) and subject expert(s) connected with your idea and as much support material as possible, i.e., text documents, content resources, sketches, diagrams, media clips, etc. We can help you transform your idea and these resources into a real Problem-based Case Study.
Once you have built a proof of concept for your case, you and your team will present it to the other teams for feedback. After the Institute, you can work with us to refine your case.
Attend a Design and Implementation Institute. Check the Schedule of Events section for the next available Institute, or request one to be held in your area.
