      Structure/Organization

Nashville State SACS 2007 Compliance Report pages have the NSCC logo (which is a link to the main college home page and site) and a teal header. The logo and header are not visible while viewing the narrative of the requirements and standards, nor are they visible if you have navigated away from the Compliance Report site. The Web browser's back button can be used to navigate back to the Compliance site.

      Navigation

Nashville State SACS 2007 Compliance Report contains a menu bar on the left which provides access to the core requirements section, each comprehensive standard section, and the federal requirements section. All links are underlined and have a "mouse-over" feature indicating that the link is active. Use the menu bar on the left to move sequentially between sections or go to sections out of order. The menu bar expands and contracts with navigation between sections. The "forward" and "back" buttons on the menu bar of the Web browser works in the usual manner.

The main page of each section (i.e., Core Requirements) contains a table laying out the standards or requirements of that section, the judgment of compliance for each item, and links to the corresponding narrative.

The narrative of each standard and requirement includes a list of supporting documents. Some of the supporting documents are resident on the CD (noted with a docs\ prefix) while others are located on an external website. Either way, the document's name is an active link to the actual document. Clicking the link will result in the document opening in the current window or opening in a new window. After viewing the document, either close the window if the document opened in a new window, or use the Web browser's "back" button to return to the narrative. The state of the "back" arrow in the upper left corner of the screen stays active when a document is being viewed in the current window, so the the "back" arrow will return to the narrative. When the "back" arrow is inactive, or gray, the document is being viewed in a new browser window, which must be closed in order to resume with the narrative.
