Read the Instructions for Viewing and Printing FlashPaper files. Then view the PowerPoint presentation titled "Report Guidelines" by clicking on the "Report Guidelines" link at the top of the page.
Read a sample MLA paper. Go to the Hacker Handbook Resources and click on "Sample MLA paper." Mark this site and use it as a resource.
Go to the Online Writing Lab (OWL) at Purdue and review "MLA Formatting and Style Guide."
To reinforce what you have learned in the Word modules, study the step-by-step guide on formatting an MLA paper in Word by Dr. Janice Walker at Georgia Southern University.
Open MLA template.doc. Run the Spelling checker and correct any words that need to be corrected. Count the words in the document. After the last paragraph, key the number of words in the document. Save the file. Print one copy of the MLA template.
