D2L Brightspace offers the Virtual Classroom by Bongo at a basic level.
This means there are limitations on the maximum number of participants, session recording availability, and session duration. Basic level does not include Video Assignments, another product of D2L.
You will need: A microphone with speakers, headset with microphone, or webcam to send and receive audio. Important: Sending video of yourself requires a significant amount of bandwidth that may be best saved for sharing your desktop and files.
As of April 1st, 2020, the Virtual Classroom Basic will decrease the maximum number of participants to 50, session recording availabiity to 14-days, and session duration is 60 minutes.
